Description

Maggie runs away after embarassing herself in front of her family, and comes across a gypsy commune on Dunlow Common. A gypsy woman asks her where she is going and Maggie replies that she wants to stay with the gypsies. She sits around the fire and talks with them. (Book 1, Chapter 11)
