Call, Wathen Mark Wilks (1817-1890)

Wathen Mark Wilks Call, or Mark, was the second husband of Elizabeth Rebecca 'Rufa' Brabant, a close friend of Eliot's during her years in Coventry who was widowed young. Until his death, Rufa had been married to Charles Christian Hennell, brother of one of Eliot's closest friends, Sara Hennell.
