Tomb of Isaac Evans, George Eliot’s Brother

Isaac Evans, George Eliot's beloved older brother, is buried at Chilvers Coton Church. Tom Tulliver, the older brother of Maggie in George Eliot's The Mill on the Floss, is generally viewed as a partial portrait of Isaac Evans.
