Jackson, Martha "Patty"

Patty Jackson was a fellow student with Eliot at the Misses Franklin's school in Coventry. Jackson and Eliot continued to write letters to each other for many years. When John Walter Cross began writing Eliot's biography, Jackson refused to allow Cross to republish her letters because he did not share her Christian values.
