Evans, Sarah Rowlins

Sarah Evans was George Eliot’s sister-in-law and wife of Isaac Evans. She was from Birmingham and her father was friends with Robert Evans, Isaac's father. She was ten years older than Isaac. They married in 1841 and had four children, who were raised at Griff (George Eliot’s childhood home).
