Calimara, Corporation of (Hist.)

Dealers in foreign cloths to which a Florentine finish had been given; one of the corporations included in the San Giovanni procession. The Calimala, or dealers in foregin cloth, one of the seven Greater Arts (or Guilds) of Florence.
