Manuzio, Aldo (Hist.)

A printer who wishes Bardo de' Bardi to give him the aid of his annotated manuscripts. Aldus Manutius (1450-1515) the great Venetian printer and humanist, who established himself in Venice in 1490 and began printing not long after that date.
