Ponte Rubaconte, or Ponte alle Grazie (Real),Bridge across the Arno, In Florence, near Romola's house. The Ponte alle Grazie was built in 1237 for Rubaconte da Mandella. It was formerly called the Ponte Rubaconte, its other name, alle Grazie, coming from the chapel of Santa Maria delle Grazie, on the right bank. It was modernized in 1874, when the old houses on the bridge were demolished.
