Martelli, Via de' (Real)

Martelli, Via de' (Real),Street in Florence by which the syndics return from their interview with Charles VIII in the Via Larga. Via de' Martelli is a short street leading from the Piazza del Duomo to the Via Cavour (formerly Via Larga). Its earlier name of Via degli Spadai was changed to Martelli, from the houses of the Martelli family.
