Careggi (Real)

Careggi (Real),The country house of the Medici near Florence, where Lorenzo de' Medici died. The Villa Medicea di Careggi bought by Cosimo the Elder and reconstructed for him after 1433. It was set on fire, but not destroyed, in 1529, and still retains practically its original form.
