Benci, Via de' (Real)

Benci, Via de' (Real),Street in Florence along which Tito Melema sometimes passes on his way to or from the Via de' Bardi. The Via de' Benci which leads from the Piazza Santa Croce towards the Ponte alle Grazie is named after the Benci family. At the time of Romola the part of the present Via de' Benci from the Borgo Santa Croce to the bridge which was called Via del Fosso.
